Dawn Peterson, MSW, LICSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience in the mental health field. Licensed since 2008, she has been in private practice since 2016. Dawn works with adults, adolescents, couples, and families, specializing in trauma recovery, healthy life choices, navigating life changes, and managing and overcoming insecurities and anxieties.

Areas of Interest

Earlier in her career, Dawn focused primarily on administration at a care facility for adolescents, where she gained extensive hands-on experience working with families in crisis. Her role as an administrator allowed her to develop and supervise both clinical and non-clinical staff, an experience that proves invaluable for clients navigating work-life balance or career transitions.

Hobbies

Dawn is deeply passionate about her family and her dogs—two of her own, as well as her daughter’s rescue dog and the many foster dogs her daughter has helped save. Living on a lake, Dawn enjoys spending her summers on or near the water, running, reading, walking her dogs, and embracing the outdoors as much as possible.
