Dawn Peterson, MSW, LICSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience working with adolescents and families. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Minnesota, Duluth, and is Licensed in Minnesota as a Clinical Social Worker. In addition to her general clinical training, and extensive experience working with adolescents and families, Dawn also specializes in the use of Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and is credentialed by the National Institute of Corrections as a trainer of gender-specific services for females.

Areas of Interest

For much of her career, Dawn has worked with adolescents and families who have experienced trauma. This specialized training also generalizes into providing effective treatment for families and individuals of all ages.

Hobbies

In her personal time, Dawn enjoys spending time with her family, including her spouse, daughter and dogs. She also enjoys running and working out.
